Our School
Spaldwick Primary School is a small, growing primary school.
Located in the beautiful village of Spaldwick, our school has a strong community focus and is the centre for many local activities. It principally draws pupils from Spaldwick village and surrounding villages (Ellington, Easton, Grafham, Woolley, Barham and Stow Longa). School Transport, by Cambridgeshire Education Transport, is provided for pupils resident within the school catchment villages. Increasingly children from further afield also attend Spaldwick School due to its convenient location near links for A14 and A1.
Our school dates back to 1969, however the history of our village goes back to the 12th century with some records going as far as the Bronze Age. Our local church dates back to be 12th century and its spire is the tallest in Huntingdonshire (152ft).
From April 2022, Spaldwick Primary School became an academy and joined the ACES Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust which also includes Hinchingbrooke School.
